These fluidly shaped stairs with railings are made from sturdy sheet metal, a material chosen for its durability, structural strength, and wide design possibilities. Because metal can be shaped so freely, it allowed for an expressive, organic-lined design. The staircase becomes not just a functional feature but an important part of the interior’s architecture.

The volumetric, double-frame railing structure was chosen for more than just aesthetics — it also made it possible to integrate hidden LED lighting directed at the steps and floor. The soft light highlights the shapes of the stairs and creates a warm atmosphere, while also ensuring safe movement after dark. The integrated lighting emphasizes the lightness of the structure and gives the staircase a distinctive character.

The fully enclosed underside of the staircase reinforces the impression of a single, seamless form, lending the piece a sculptural quality and visual lightness. Viewed from different angles, the stairs appear as one continuous, fluidly poured shape.

The treads and risers are made from solid brushed oak slats. The natural wood texture warms up the metal structure and creates a pleasing contrast, with a continuous wood grain running across every step — creating the impression of a wooden carpet rippling up the staircase. This pairing of materials gives the stairs an elegant, timeless character.
